2021 MAIN STAGE SEASON

Pamela Parker's Second Samuel Directed by Len Willis
Second Samuel is a poignant comedy/drama about family and
diversity. It’s a simpler time in the late 1940s, especially in South Georgia
and specifically in a sleepy little town called Second Samuel. What had been
called the Great Depression is quickly fading into memory. The war has been
won, the election is now over, and "Give 'em Hell Harry" is still
president. It’s been an exciting time for sure, but the folks in Second Samuel
are ready for things to settle down and get back to normal. Except—this is the
summer Miss Gertrude passes away, and deep dark secrets are about to be revealed.
Nobody could have imaged how the death of one sweet little old lady would turn
the entire town upside down, leaving everybody in Second Samuel wondering if
anything would ever be normal again! See dates in Calender

Suite Surrender is an all-out love note to those wonderful farces of the 30's and 40's. It's 1942, and the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel is under siege as two of Hollywood's biggest divas vie for the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, double entendres, and one pampered little lap dog round out this fall-down-laughing riot of a comedy. You’ll laugh until you cry! And then laugh all the way home!
