Synopsis
It is Christmastime in 1959, and the ladies of the church basement are busy preparing for the Sunday School Christmas program. Between baking, decorating, rehearsals, and keeping the congregation fed, Vivian, Mavis, Karin, and Beverly find themselves navigating changing traditions, family milestones, and a few holiday surprises. As the women share stories of Christmases past and prepare for the celebration ahead, their familiar basement becomes a gathering place for laughter, friendship, and faith. Karin Engelson: Beverly’s mother and the kitchen’s best cook. Stylish, capable, trying to keep everything running smoothly.
